Ty Idris is a 2 bedroom riverside holiday cottage in the village of Llanrhaeadr YM Mochnant, Powys. We're on the English border with excellent road links to the Midlands, Chesire and the coast.
Ty Idris is centrally located in the village with it's own car parking space. It also has beautiful south facing terraced garden which leads down to the edge of the river Rhaeadr, the property is perfect for relaxing, socialising and eating.
The garden at Ty Idris is a real jewel, being south facing it receives the sun all day and well into the eveing making sunsets whilst overlooking the river a very special experience.
There are 3 terraces levels all with seasonal planting and seating areas
The village has a choice of freehold pubs, restaurants, a butcher, post office, takeaway and variety of small shops such as convenience stores, newsagents, craft shop, and hairdressers.
Llanrhaeadr YM Mochnant is home to one of the seven wonders of wales вЂ˜Pistyll Rhaeadr WaterfallвЂ™ which is truly breath taking and a must see phenomenon.

One of the seven wonders of Wales and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a truly memorable place to visit.
Built in the 1880s to supply Liverpool with water. A fantasic place to spend a day walking or cycling around the lake.
Another world famous landmark built by Thomas Telford and William Jessop a unique experience walking alongside narrowboats 126ft in the air
All stays include bedding & towels. Changeover days are usually Mondays & Fridays

Small well behaved pets are welcome to stay at Ty Idris the garden is enclosed, although they should never be left unattended inside or out. You should bring their own bedding and not allow them upstairs or on any furniture. There are extra fees for pets which can be found on the booking form.
Ty Idris is equipped to comfortably sleep 4 adults or 2 Adults & 2 Children, infants are welcome you must bring bedding, travel cots, highchairs etc with you.
This certainly is possible by mutual agreement, depending on the other guest bookings and maintenance.
Yes, there is keycoded access facilities.
Llanrhaeadr YM Mochnant is most famous for the vicar William Morgan, who translated the whole Bible into Welsh in the 1580's
